Sloppy Bards Get All The Action by RenalDistress

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale doubles every extra draw and every token he generates, so this is an Azorius draw-go control deck that uses taxes and free countermagic to buy time until it lands Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista. The commander is an engine, not a beatstick: he turns Mystic Remora, Rhystic Study, and Smothering Tithe into overwhelming card and Treasure advantage, and his vigilance lets him chip while staying back. Secondary pressure comes from doubled 1/1s (The Queen of Dale, Voice of Victory) and a Displacer Kitten + Teferi fast-mana loop. Every line is protected by counterspells, Teferi, Ranger-Captain, and Silence effects.
