Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant is an Elf/Faerie tribal-steal deck built around flooding the board with cheap Elves and Faeries to grow Maralen's free-cast discount. The primary plan is developing a wide creature base, pumping it with tribal lords, and closing with Lathril's activated drain or a burst of tokens from Morcant's Eyes. Secondary paths come from theft packages: Siphon Insight, Mind's Dilation, and Predators' Hour convert opponents' cards into extra resources. The deck has no deterministic infinite combo and wins through incremental value, recursion, and combat. Its main fragility is dependence on Maralen's engine and a near-total lack of stack protection, making it vulnerable to board wipes and fast combo.
