Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck uses Thassa, Deep-Dwelling as an indestructible, repeatable flicker engine in the command zone. During the early turns, the deck develops mana rocks and enter-the-battlefield utility creatures that draw cards, bounce problematic permanents, and slow opposing aggression. By turn 4 or 5, Thassa enters the battlefield to provide continuous end-step flickering, generating steady card flow and board suppression with cards like Aether Channeler, Circuit Mender, and Sludge Monster. The deck protects its game plan with efficient counterspells including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Mana Drain. On turn 6, the deck transitions into a game-winning state by resolving Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake, generating infinite mana to flicker Venser, Shaper Savant and Aether Channeler. This bounces every opposing permanent back to hand, draws the entire deck, and loops into Time Stretch to close the game across extra turns without allowing opponents any response cycles.
