Partnering The Tenth Doctor with Rose Tyler establishes an engine in the command zone: The Tenth Doctor exiles cards from the library and gives them suspend, while Rose Tyler grows exponentially as time counters accumulate on permanents and exiled cards. Midgame turns transition into large threat deployment through resolving massive suspended creatures like Dinosaurs on a Spaceship and Star Whale, wide token boards from Kate Stewart, and direct damage from The War Doctor.
