Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Orc counter deck built around The Great Goblin as a hybrid direct-damage and impulse-draw engine. The plan is to create a wide swarm of cheap Goblins while layering counter triggers from amass effects onto Armies and Goblins, turning every Mordor Muster or Great Goblin, Foul-Hearted trigger into 2 damage to an opponent. The deck then finishes through one of two overlapping routes: go-wide combat with Shared Animosity and Krenko, Mob Boss, or noncombat damage multiplication with Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Fiery Emancipation, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz. It has no true infinite combos; instead, it grinds value from token sacrifice, death triggers, and explosive Goblin payoff cards like Muxus, Goblin Grandee.
