Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Mardu combat aggro list helmed by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The strategy focuses on accelerating early mana through efficient artifacts, deploying Isshin on turn 3, and untapping into explosive attack-triggered permanents. With Isshin doubling every attacking trigger, token producers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon rapidly swarm the battlefield, while direct damage engines such as Mishra, Claimed by Gix and Arabella, Abandoned Doll melt opposing life totals regardless of blockers. The deck supplements its aggressive pressure with extra combat spells (Aurelia, the Warleader, World at War, Combat Celebrant) and an infinite combat loop using Helm of the Host. Efficient instant-speed interaction and targeted board wipes provide resilience against opposing combo decks and heavy stax boards.
