Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul combat strategy commanded by Balthier and Fran that merges artifact Vehicles with +1/+1 counter synergies. The commander grants all Vehicles +1/+1, reach, and vigilance, while opening up an extra combat phase whenever a crewed Vehicle attacks. Because Vehicles retain vigilance, they do not tap when attacking, allowing them to attack freely during the bonus combat step without needing to be crewed a second time. The deck uses counter multipliers like Biogenic Upgrade and trample enablers like Emil, Vastlands Roamer and Gnarlid Colony to scale combat damage rapidly. While the list excels at sustained mid-game beatdown and robust board presence, it relies entirely on fair combat damage, possesses minimal stack interaction, and requires multiple turns of uninterrupted attacks to eliminate a full multiplayer table.
