Deck overview

This deck is a fast Rakdos combo engine that leverages persist loops, Dualcaster Mage lines, and powerful card advantage engines like Ad Nauseam and Necropotence. Gev, Scaled Scorch serves as a reliable commander-zone enabler: whenever an opponent loses life, Gev grants entering creatures an additional plus-one-plus-one counter. This naturally cancels out the minus-one-minus-one counter from persist, allowing creatures like Putrid Goblin, Lesser Masticore, or Murderous Redcap to sacrifice infinitely to outlets like Viscera Seer, Carrion Feeder, or Goblin Bombardment. Alternatively, the deck can assemble Twinflame and Dualcaster Mage or burst through its low-curve library to burn the table.
