Deck overview

This Sultai control deck is helmed by Kadena, Slinking Sorcerer, turning the morph and manifest mechanic into an efficient engine for card advantage and board presence. Kadena reduces the cost of the first face-down creature cast each turn by three mana while drawing a card whenever a face-down creature enters the battlefield. By combining Kadena with flash enablers like Leyline of Anticipation, Vivien, Champion of the Wilds, and Tidal Barracuda, the deck can cast a free 2/2 creature and draw an extra card during each opponent's turn. Defensive depth comes from special action unmorph abilities such as Willbender, Stratus Dancer, and Kadena's Silencer, which disrupt opponents without using the stack. Once a dominant board is established, the deck seals victory through wide combat damage powered by Overwhelming Stampede, Trail of Mystery, or mass disruption via Ixidron.
