This Boros deck pairs Taii Wakeen, Perfect Shot in the command zone with Zirda, the Dawnwaker as an 8th-card companion. Every permanent card in the 99 possesses an activated ability to satisfy Zirda's restriction. The deck functions by controlling the early battlefield with repeatable pingers like Cunning Sparkmage, Thermo-Alchemist, and Grim Lavamancer, using Taii Wakeen's damage-scaling ability to cleanly execute opposing creatures and draw cards.
