Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Dimir tempo deck led by Satoru Umezawa. The game plan revolves around casting cheap, unblockable 1-mana creatures during the early turns, casting Satoru on Turn 3, and using his ability to give every creature in hand ninjutsu for {2}{U}{B}. On Turn 4, the deck cheats terrifying threats directly into combat unblocked, including Blightsteel Colossus, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Ancient Silver Dragon, and Archon of Cruelty. Satoru's triggered ability digs three cards deep on every ninjutsu activation, ensuring continuous access to additional threats and interaction. Backed by efficient counterspells and removal, the deck applies immediate lethal pressure and rapidly eliminates opponents one by one.
