Deck overview

This is a Rakdos treasure-and-spells midrange deck helmed by Smaug the Impenetrable. The core plan is to generate Treasures from every angle - attack triggers (Guild Artisan, Captain Lannery Storm, Professional Face-Breaker), discard spells (Big Score, Unexpected Windfall, Seize the Spoils), and token doublers (Xorn) - then use that mana to cast Smaug, whose haste, indestructible, and 8/7 flying body make him a relentless clock. The primary table-kill line is the Pyrohemia combo: repeatedly activating it deals 1 damage to Smaug, creating infinite Treasures, which fuel a storm Grapeshot or a massive spell turn. Secondary wins include Smaug commander damage, table-wide pings from Weftstalker Ardent and Longshot Rebel Bowman, and mass recursion via Living Death and The Cruelty of Gix. The deck churns through its library with a dense discard-draw package, making it a consistent, value-heavy midrange build.
