Commander: Savanti Romero, Time's Exile

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Savanti Romero, Time's Exile leads a mono-black deck that combines counter growth, aggressive card draw, and life drain. Savanti gains a counter each combat, drawing cards and taxing your life total proportionally. To manage the life loss and convert massive card advantage into a win, the deck employs lifelink enablers like Basilisk Collar, life-drain staples like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Enduring Tenacity, and explosive mana doublers including Crypt Ghast and Cabal Coffers. You win by overwhelming opponents through huge trample combat damage, continuous drain triggers from Psychosis Crawler, or a game-ending Exsanguinate fueled by mono-black mana acceleration.
