Magnus by Jhutt53

Format: Commander

Commander: Magnus the Red

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Magnus the Red leads a UR spells-and-tokens engine. The deck accumulates creature tokens, then uses Magnus's cost reduction to turn large X draw spells and burn spells into near-free plays. Primary wins are a Locust God + Impact Tremors chain that burns each opponent for every Insect token, and a dragon-token blowout from Rite of Dragoncaller or Dragonstorm. Prismari, the Inspiration acts as a hidden secondary commander, granting storm to a final Comet Storm. The goblin sub-theme adds redundancy through Krenko and Muxus. This is a midrange engine deck, not a fast combo list, and it relies heavily on assembling a token engine before the payoff turn.
