Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis mid-power build commanded by Abaddon the Despoiler. The strategy focuses on turning global group-slug life loss into explosive cascade turns. By deploying cheap pingers like Spear Spewer and Thermo-Alchemist, the deck damages all three opponents during precombat main phases, causing 3 or more total life loss to grant low-cost spells cascade. Once Abaddon is active, the deck chains spells into paradox payoffs such as Keeper of Secrets, Flaming Tyrannosaurus, and Passionate Archaeologist. These cards deal direct damage whenever spells are cast from exile. Heavy mana generation from Dark Ritual, Descent into Avernus, and Rakdos, Lord of Riots fuels expensive spells like Temporal Trespass and Kefka, Dancing Mad. While the deck generates massive card velocity and closing burst damage, it lacks counterspells and dedicated protection, relying on proactive pressure to overwhelm opponents.
