Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact midrange build led by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. It leverages the 'Start your engines!' speed mechanic to scale its commander into a formidable threat while triggering artifact-copying value at Max Speed. The strategy deploys low-cost artifact creatures, mana rocks, and Vehicles in the opening turns to accelerate mana and increase artifact count. As combat damage advances the speed counter to 4, cards like Sai, Master Thopterist generate flying Thopter swarms while Rover Blades and Riptide Gearhulk apply substantial combat pressure. The deck operates through fair combat damage and value generation, backed by targeted countermagic and versatile artifact utility.
