Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon tribal deck commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages the commander's eminence ability from the command zone to discount all Dragon spells by one generic mana from the first turn. The strategy focuses on accelerating through land-based ramp and low-cost mana rocks during the opening turns, then deploying foundational engines like Temur Ascendancy, Rivaz of the Claw, or Sarkhan, Soul Aflame on Turn 4. On Turn 5, the deck transitions into lethal aggression by dropping massive threats such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Hellkite Courser, Atarka, World Render, or Tiamat. These dragons trigger cascading enter-the-battlefield damage, card draw, and token creation to overwhelm opposing boards. High-impact reanimation spells such as Patriarch's Bidding provide rapid recovery after board wipes, while asymmetric sweepers like Crux of Fate clear opposing defenses to ensure victory in combat.
