Big Dumb Idiots by LazyWizard

Format: Commander

Commander: Ruxa, Patient Professor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ruxa, Patient Professor is a mono-green creature beatdown deck that maximizes vanilla and no-ability creatures. The primary plan is to develop ramp, flood the board with efficient vanilla beaters, then use anthem effects and Ruxa's built-in evasion to push through massive damage. Secondary lines involve overrun-style burst spells and the hidden commander Growing Rites of Itlimoc, which transforms into a Gaea's Cradle to sustain explosive creature chains. Ruxa itself provides recursion for no-ability creatures, and the deck can pivot between a wide swarm and tall trampling threats. The goal is an overwhelming mid-game attack with pump effects like Overwhelming Stampede or Preposterous Proportions.
