Deck overview

This deck is built around Obeka, Splitter of Seconds, turning combat damage into multiple consecutive upkeep phases. By accelerating Obeka onto the battlefield on Turn 3 and giving her evasion through cards like Aqueous Form or Whispersilk Cloak, the deck multiplies the triggers of powerful upkeep permanents. Engines such as Descent into Avernus, Twilight Prophet, Court of Embereth, and Court of Ire deal massive, scaling table-wide damage or drain opponents life totals in rapid bursts. Meanwhile, cards like Plargg and Nassari and Phyrexian Arena generate enormous card advantage, and Dominus of Fealty strips opposing boards of key blockers and resources. While the deck contains no infinite combos and relies on combat connections, its sheer trigger density creates overwhelming late-game inevitability. It plays a proactive, high-synergy game that rewards careful timing and protection of its commander.
