Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal list commanded by The Ur-Sphinx. It utilizes the commander's eminence cost reduction alongside tribal artifacts such as Urza's Incubator, Herald's Horn, and Heartless Summoning to cast large, evasive flying creatures multiple turns ahead of curve. The deck draws cards rapidly through powerhouse engines like Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign, Consecrated Sphinx, and Kindred Discovery. Rather than pursuing infinite combos, the strategy focuses on building an overwhelming aerial presence by Turn 5. Asymmetric sweepers like Raise the Palisade, Kindred Dominance, and Kindred Judgment clear opposing boards while leaving your Sphinxes intact to attack. Cheap countermagic, Teferi's Protection, and pillowfort enchantments such as Propaganda and Ghostly Prison defend your life total and board state. The deck steadily eliminates all three opponents around Turn 7 through massive flying combat damage and high-synergy attack triggers.
