Deck overview

This four-color control deck leverages Jace, Multiverse Architect as a repeatable Polymorph engine in the command zone. The deck operates by spending early turns deploying 2-CMC mana rocks alongside low-cost token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and uses his −3 ability to exile a disposable token, cheating an enormous game-ending creature or planeswalker directly from the library onto the battlefield. Payoffs like Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, The Ur-Sphinx, and Archfiend of Despair quickly outpace opponents in combat while dominating the board. A robust suite of board wipes and pinpoint exile removal clears opposing threats and buys the necessary turns to eliminate the table. Backup mass cheat spells like Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny ensure that the deck can build a game-winning board presence even if the commander is removed.
