Deck overview

This deck is an Esper topdeck-manipulation midrange strategy commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating into Yennett on Turn 4, using library-manipulation tools such as Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter to stack high-impact odd-mana spells on top of the library, and cheating them into play for free on Turn 5 attacks. Free casts of devastating bombs like Void Winnower, Toxrill, the Corrosive, and Breach the Multiverse generate massive board advantage and lock down opposing resources. The deck controls the board with efficient spot removal and sweepers while converting its large flying threats into a combat finish around Turn 8. Its main vulnerabilities are a lack of haste and cheap protection for Yennett.
