Fool's Gold by PhoenixThyme18

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Magnificent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-red Dragon-treasure deck helmed by Smaug the Magnificent churns out artifact tokens at every opportunity, then converts them into overwhelming damage. The commander itself is a win condition - its haste means it attacks the turn it hits the battlefield, dealing damage equal to your Treasure count. The deck supports this with a dense suite of treasure generators (Goldspan Dragon, Xorn, Professional Face-Breaker, rituals, and sagas), a solid dragon tribal backbone, and multiple damage doublers (Fiery Emancipation, Twinflame Tyrant, Gratuitous Violence). Extra combat steps via Scourge of the Throne and Desert Were-Worm let the turn snowball. Secondary wins include Hellkite Tyrant's artifact count check, Alchemist's Talent level-3 burn, and Crackle with Power as a finisher. The game plan is aggressive: accelerate, deploy dragons, and close the game through repeated combat phases.
