Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

A Grixis spell-slinger burn deck helmed by Kefka, Court Mage, whose ETB/attack forces every player to discard and then refills the caster for each card type discarded. That discard feed fuels Waste Not, Liliana's Caress, Geth's Grimoire, and Monument to Endurance, while the transformed Kefka, Ruler of Ruin turns opponent life loss into card draw - the heart of the engine. The 99 is built around a dozen interchangeable Wizards that each deal 1-2 damage to every opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast, amplified by Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, flipped Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, Fated Firepower, and Artist's Talent. Wheels like Wheel of Fortune and Windfall refill and trigger discard payoffs. Primary wins: transform Kefka via his {8} ability and pair him with Niv-Mizzet, Parun for an infinite draw/ping loop, or chain amplified pinger triggers to dome the table. Vivi Ornitier is a hidden commander, growing into a mana battery that accelerates the expensive transform.
