Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on Kefka, Court Mage to generate immense card advantage and disrupt opponent hands. The front face forces simultaneous discards on entry and attack, rewarding you with draws for distinct card types discarded. By capitalizing on mass discard synergies like Waste Not and pairing heavy draw with direct drain engines like Psychosis Crawler, the deck steadily exhausts opposing resources. In the late game, the deck can transform Kefka into Kefka, Ruler of Ruin for explosive draw chains off opponent life loss, or assemble deterministic win lines using Niv-Mizzet, Parun with Ophidian Eye and infinite turn locks with Isochron Scepter, Final Fortune, and Obeka, Brute Chronologist.
