Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon deck plays a five-color dragon-cheat game: the commander's Eminence discounts every other Dragon, and its attack trigger both draws cards and drops a permanent from hand for free. The primary finish is a wide Dragon board with Atarka, World Render giving double strike, plus the Ancient Gold Dragon + Dragon Tempest burst for immediate d20 damage. Tiamat assembles the final five-piece hand, while Miirym and Lathliss multiply threats. There is no double-faced commander and no true hidden commander; Ur-Dragon is the engine. If Ur-Dragon is repeatedly removed, the deck still operates at moderate strength through the discount and a Tiamat/Miirym package, but loses its best free-permanent tempo.
