Commander: Magar of the Magic Strings

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Magar of the Magic Strings commands a Rakdos graveyard-combo strategy designed to cheat and repeatedly cast colossal instants and sorceries. The deck loads the graveyard through self-discard and Entomb effects, then uses Magar to animate those spells into three-power creature tokens. When these face-down puppets connect in combat, they cast full copies of game-ending spells without paying their mana costs. Primary win conditions center on taking infinite combat steps with an animated Savage Beating, taking consecutive extra turns with Rise of the Eldrazi, or overwhelming the table through devastating sweeps and burn spells like Breach the Multiverse, Insurrection, and Blood for the Blood God!.
