Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered five-color Legendary Aggro and Stax strategy helmed by Jodah, the Unifier. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early mana acceleration and asymmetric legendary hatebears—such as Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, Lavinia, Azorius Renegade, and Gaddock Teeg—to hinder opposing game plans while fixing all five colors. On Turn 4, casting Jodah unlocks a compounding engine: every legendary spell cast from hand cascades into another legendary nonland permanent of lesser mana value, rapidly doubling board presence while granting a massive +X/+X anthem to all legendary creatures. By Turn 5, the board achieves critical mass, swinging with overwhelming trample and combat power to eliminate opponents across Turns 6 and 7. Layered protection from Boromir, Warden of the Tower, Myrel, Shield of Argive, and Skrelv, Defector Mite shields the board from wipes and spot removal. In addition to combat prowess, the deck features asymmetric sweepers like Urza's Ruinous Blast and backup combo lines like Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank.
