Deck overview

This deck is a Bant +1/+1 counter and Voltron strategy led by Ms. Bumbleflower. The game plan revolves around casting two low-mana spells per turn to trigger the commander's ability, distributing +1/+1 counters, granting flying, and drawing cards. The deck uses an exceptionally dense suite of 1-mana reactive protection spells, which simultaneously protect key permanents and serve as cheap enablers for the double-spell draw condition. In the midgame, pillowfort pieces such as Magus of the Moat, Windborn Muse, and Collective Restraint limit incoming attacks from opponents. This defensive shell buys time to scale Ms. Bumbleflower into a massive evasive threat augmented by damage multipliers like Flaming Fist and Level Up, or to accumulate counters on Simic Ascendancy. Strong countermagic defends the board while closing out opponents through sequential combat damage.
