Deck overview

This deck is a Bant creature storm engine built around Helga, Skittish Seer. The primary strategy accelerates Helga onto the battlefield on Turn 2 using one-mana dorks like Birds of Paradise and Noble Hierarch. Once deployed, casting creature spells with mana value 4 or greater triggers Helga to draw cards, gain life, and accumulate +1/+1 counters. This rapidly scales Helga's mana generation, turning her into a massive ritual engine for high-cost creatures. The deck leverages creature untappers like Chakram Retriever, Breaching Hippocamp, and Intruder Alarm to tap Helga multiple times in a single turn. This fuels explosive turns that draw through the library. The game finishes through infinite mana and card-draw loops using Blinking Spirit or Emiel the Blessed with Peregrine Drake, delivering decisive lethality via Psychosis Crawler life drain or Laboratory Maniac. Efficient protection spells shield the combo pieces from interaction during the win attempt.
