Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari go-wide swarm strategy led by Witherbloom, the Balancer. The commander possesses affinity for creatures and grants affinity for creatures to all instant and sorcery spells you cast. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana dorks and token generators to establish a wide board state by turn 3. Once the commander resolves for as little as two mana on turn 4, high-mana sorceries and X-spells become massively discounted. The deck leverages explosive draw spells like Shamanic Revelation and Collective Unconscious to churn through the library and assemble decisive win conditions. It closes games on turn 5 by tutoring Craterhoof Behemoth or casting an oversized Finale of Devastation to trample over all three opponents in a single turn. It can also generate infinite tapped Saproling tokens at instant speed with Sprout Swarm when five or more creatures are in play.
