The Fantastic Four (Copy) by user8910010

Format: Commander

Commander: The Thing

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Thing commands a four-color midrange beatdown strategy centered around spell velocity and massive counter scaling. Casting noncreature spells each turn primes your board, giving The Thing four +1/+1 counters before combat and enabling board-wide token and card advantage engines like Council of Reeds, Human Torch, and Whirlwind of Thought. When The Thing attacks, investing four colors doubles all counters on your permanents, rapidly turning it into a trampling, one-hit commander-damage threat. The deck closes games through overwhelming trampling commander damage, wide board pumps, extra combat phases with Seize the Day, or unblockable alpha strikes facilitated by Taunt from the Rampart and Lockjaw.
