Deck overview

This is a mono-black Rat tribal swarm deck helmed by Marrow-Gnawer. The plan is to flood the board with Rat tokens, amplify them with lords and anthems, and close through combat (fear makes the army hard to block), life-drain engines, and a classic infinite-token loop. Marrow-Gnawer grants the team fear and converts any Rat into a exponential token factory; the 99 supports him with dense Rat producers, aristocrats drains (Ayara, First of Locthwain, Mirkwood Bats, The Meathook Massacre), and heavy mono-black mana (Cabal Coffers, Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, Crypt Ghast). Secondary finishers include Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Gruesome Fate, Bolas's Citadel, and toxic pressure from Karumonix, the Rat King. The deck wins by going extremely wide, then either attacking through fear or draining the table as tokens enter and die.
