Deck overview

This deck is a Temur spellslinger engine commanded by Iroh, Grand Lotus. It pairs the unique Lesson mechanic with cost-reduction permanents to turn the graveyard into a free spell repository. During the early turns, the deck develops mana with low-cost dorks and rocks while filtering Lessons into the graveyard via looting effects. Once a cost reducer such as Uncle Iroh, Gran-Gran, or Stormcatch Mentor is in play, casting Iroh on turn 6 reduces Lesson flashback costs from {1} down to {0}. This triggers an explosive storm turn that refills the hand and triggers pingers like Fiery Inscription and Coruscation Mage. The deck provides resilient card flow and high velocity, but it relies on untapping with key permanents intact and remains vulnerable to well-timed graveyard hate and creature board wipes.
