Deck overview

Sai, Master Thopterist rewards a steady stream of artifact spells by creating flying Thopters, then converts two tokens and {1}{U} into a card. The deck uses Sol Ring, artifact mana, and cost reducers to increase its deployment rate, while cards such as Thoughtcast, Thirst for Knowledge, Thought Monitor, and Vedalken Archmage help maintain material. Its pressure comes from a growing evasive board and artifact payoffs including Master of Etherium, Nettlecyst, Kappa Cannoneer, and Broodstar. The ordinary assembly point is around turn 5, with a credible must-answer board around turn 8. However, the list has no deterministic full-table finish, no compact infinite combo, and no reliable extra-combat or haste plan. Interaction is useful but limited, and its high-cost threats make it difficult to develop while holding protection. It is a functional casual artifact deck rather than a competitive Commander shell.
