Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Prismari, the Inspiration. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost mana reducers such as Goblin Electromancer, Stormcatch Mentor, and Ral, Monsoon Mage, alongside explosive mana engines like Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist. Once sufficient mana velocity is established, the deck casts its 7-mana commander or alternative storm engines like Thousand-Year Storm to grant storm to all subsequent instants and sorceries. Chaining cheap cantrips, rituals such as Jeska's Will and Seething Song, and high-yield draw engines like Archmage Emeritus quickly escalates the storm count. The deck closes games decisively in a single turn by casting direct burn spells such as Boltwave, Lightning Bolt, or Shock, dealing lethal damage to the entire table simultaneously. It also features a compact infinite mana combo with Mana Geyser and Reiterate.
