Format: Commander

Commander: Darien, King of Kjeldor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-white Darien deck builds a self-damage token engine. Darien creates 1/1 Soldiers whenever you take damage, and a suite of Soul Sisters (Soul Warden, Soul's Attendant, Daxos, Ajani's Welcome, Healer of the Pride) gains life when those tokens enter. Blasting Station turns that loop infinite: ping yourself to make a Soldier, untap Station when the Soldier enters, gain life to offset the damage, sacrifice the Soldier to ping again. Token doublers (Mondrak, Ojer Taq, Anointed Procession) and payoffs like Cathars' Crusade, Divine Visitation, and Aetherflux Reservoir turn the swarm into a win. Without Darien the deck is a slow fair token deck.
