Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest is a Jeskai legendary-Wizard spellslinger deck. The primary plan is to deploy multiple legendary Wizards, then use the commander's beginning-of-combat trigger to cast high-cost instants and sorceries for free. Those free spells generate draw, spirit tokens, and storm-like copy value, setting up kills through Thousand-Year Storm, Mizzix's Mastery, Surge to Victory, or the transformed Emperor of Palamecia. The deck can also win through incremental burn from Fiery Inscription and Vivi Ornitier. There is no true hidden commander; the non-commander legendary Wizards are support pieces, and the deck is built around Gandalf's trigger. The secondary path is a conventional spellslinger game plan that remains functional if the commander is unavailable.
