Lathrill, Blade of the elves by Leoborin

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathril, Blade of the Elves is a classic Golgari elfball build. The primary plan is to develop early mana dorks, land Lathril on curve, and convert her repeated combat damage into an ever-growing Elven army. The deck then either activates her tap-ten drain four times or crosses over with Ezuri, Craterhoof Behemoth, and Coat of Arms for a one-turn kill. Secondary paths are tutor-assisted overruns from Shared Summons and Finale of Devastation, plus incremental token production from Imperious Perfect and Dwynen's Elite. There is no hidden commander; Tyvar Kell and Harald, King of Skemfar support the game plan rather than replace Lathril. The commander is the main engine, but not the only path to victory.
