Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest leads a legendary-Wizard spellslinger deck. Its engine is combat-phase free-casting: with enough legendary Wizards, each combat generates a free instant/sorcery, fueling Prowess, Magecraft, and copy effects. The primary plan is to build a small Wizard court, then chain extra combats and copied spells into an unblockable/flying double-strike attack. The secondary plan is spell-value control: draw engines, counterspells, and direct damage from Niv-Mizzet and Gandalf the Grey. Gandalf, Friend of the Shire is the key supporting 'hidden' piece, granting sorceries flash so the commander's trigger can cast them. The deck wins via combat tricks and copied spells, not an infinite combo.
