Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an aggressive combo-midrange build that leverages the commander's eminence ability to produce a steady stream of Vampire tokens. These tokens provide early board pressure, serve as continuous sacrifice fodder for Skullclamp, Diabolic Intent, and Culling the Weak, and trigger aggressive tribal payoffs. The deck's primary victory route accelerates into compact infinite combos, most notably Exquisite Blood paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Bloodthirsty Conqueror, or Enduring Tenacity, as well as the independent Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista engine. Supported by fast mana, top-tier black tutors, and explosive card-draw engines like Ad Nauseam and Necropotence, the deck quickly finds its key pieces. Proactive protection spells like Silence, Grand Abolisher, and Ranger-Captain of Eos safeguard the critical turn, ensuring the deck can execute a clean, same-turn table elimination around Turn 4.
