Format: Commander

Commander: Kresh the Bloodbraided

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kresh the Bloodbraided leads a Jund aristocrats deck that turns death triggers into +1/+1 counters, card draw, and drain damage. The primary plan is to repeatedly sacrifice and recur creatures, especially Bloodghast and Nether Traitor, so every death fattens Kresh while Blood Artist, Mayhem Devil, and Juri drain opponents. A secondary plan uses Kresh's enormous power as ammunition for Minsc & Boo, Kazuul's Fury, or Broadside Bombardiers to fling lethal damage. There is no hidden commander: Minsc & Boo is a powerful role-player in the 99, while the deck is built to make Kresh the central finisher.
