Deck overview

This Jund deck is commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch and focuses on weaponizing -1/-1 counters, wither, and blight mechanics. The deck develops early mana acceleration using creatures like Channeler Initiate and Devoted Druid, which double as counter targets. Once Auntie Ool is deployed, placing -1/-1 counters on your own creatures generates continuous card draw, while placing counters on opposing creatures continuously drains enemy life totals. Midgame plays revolve around asymmetric creature control with Kulrath Knight, Necroskitter, and mass counter spells such as Soul Snuffers and Black Sun's Zenith. These sweepers wipe opposing boards while triggering token multipliers like Nest of Scarabs and Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons. The deck closes games through relentless life drain from Obelisk Spider and Auntie Ool combined with wide token combat strikes empowered by Jubilation.
