Deck overview

This Golgari deck utilizes The Most Dangerous Gamer to spearhead an aggressive Voltron and +1/+1 counter strategy powered by Unfinity Attractions. Early sequencing focuses on land ramp via Nature's Lore, Three Visits, and Farseek to deploy the commander on Turn 3. As The Most Dangerous Gamer enters and attacks, it opens Attractions that buff its stats with +1/+1 counters and offer repeatable prize-claim triggers to destroy opposing permanents on high die rolls. The deck accelerates lethal commander damage through equipment packages such as Cranial Plating—which scales rapidly alongside artifact Attractions—and double strike from Fireshrieker. Counter amplifiers like Corpsejack Menace and Evolution Sage provide auxiliary scaling. While the deck boasts flexible removal including Casualties of War and Beast Within, its sequential combat plan requires several turn cycles to eliminate the entire pod, leaving it exposed to well-timed interaction and board wipes.
