Deck overview

Alela, Cunning Conqueror commands a reactive Dimir flash tempo deck that converts instant-speed interaction into an evasive aerial army. By casting spells during each opponent's turn, the deck continuously triggers Alela to produce 1/1 flying Faerie Rogue tokens. When these Faeries deal combat damage, Alela goads opposing creatures, forcing opponents to exhaust their resources and life totals against one another while protecting your life total. High-density card draw engines like Wavebreak Hippocamp, Enduring Curiosity, and Rhystic Study replenish your hand on every turn cycle, sustaining a wall of counterspells and removal. Once a critical mass of flyers is assembled, decisive finishers such as Shadow Puppeteers or a prowled Notorious Throng close out the game through overwhelming aerial combat damage. The deck excels at dictating game tempo, maintaining open mana, and punishing aggressive strategies through redirection and asymmetric attrition.
