Copy of Blight Curse by PapaKenji

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Auntie Ool, Cursewretch makes every -1/-1 counter a card for herself or a point of life drain against opponents. The deck is a -1/-1 counter engine: Hapatra and Flourishing Defenses turn counters into tokens, while Midnight Banshee and Black Sun's Zenith apply counters en masse, feeding Auntie's draw trigger and Grave Venerations' drain. The hidden commander is Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, because the Hapatra plus Flourishing Defenses loop is what creates real board presence. Secondary paths include stealing creatures with Necroskitter/The Reaper, commander-damage beats from Auntie, and Tree of Perdition life manipulation. The plan is to grind to an exponential token-and-drain state rather than a compact combo.
