Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Sphinx tribal strategy commanded by The Ur-Sphinx, which provides continuous {1} cost reduction to all Sphinx spells from the command zone via Eminence. The deck's primary engine utilizes 12 copies of Sphinx's Approach to aggressively draw cards, fill the graveyard, and tutor key Sphinxes directly onto the battlefield. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign to compound mana discounts and generate massive card advantage with mini-Fact or Fiction triggers on every Sphinx entry. The win condition centers on resolving Magister Sphinx on Turn 5 to reduce opponent life totals to 10, repeatedly flickering it with pieces like Teleportation Circle, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, and Displacer Kitten, and closing the game via evasive flying combat on Turn 7. Secondary powerhouses like Tivit, Seller of Secrets, Medomai the Ageless, and Kindred Dominance ensure devastating asymmetric value and board control.
