Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a tempo-aggro Commander deck built around Pako, Arcane Retriever. His haste and attack trigger let a turn-three Pako immediately exile four cards and begin stacking +1/+1 counters, turning noncreature draws into commander damage. Haldan, Avid Arcanist is the card-advantage half: once he is on the battlefield, every fetch-countered noncreature spell-from any player's library-becomes castable with any color mana. The main win is repeated Pako attacks, accelerated by Temur Battle Rage, extra combat phases, extra turns, or Chandra's Ignition. Passionate Archaeologist adds ranged damage from exile. Haldan is support, not the engine: the deck genuinely needs Pako to create the exile pile and the eventual kill.
