Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet tempo and clone-aggro strategy commanded by Muddle, the Ever-Changing. The game plan revolves around casting high-value nonlegendary creatures with powerful enters-the-battlefield or combat triggers, then targeting them with Muddle by casting low-cost instants or sorceries. Muddle copies the creature and gains myriad, creating attacking token duplicates for every opponent at the table. Heavy hitters like Myr Battlesphere, Combustible Gearhulk, and Pyrogoyf provide massive immediate bursts of burn and board presence, while value engines like Archmage Emeritus and Curiosity Crafter ensure endless card velocity. Redundancy from alternative cloners such as Rionya, Fire Dancer and Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer guarantees high threat density even if the commander is removed. While lacking hard stax locks or infinite combos, the deck rapidly overwhelms multiplayer pods through scaling combat math and direct burn.
