Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue Merfolk tribal tempo build commanded by Namor the Sub-Mariner. The strategy focuses on establishing early Merfolk creatures, casting Namor the Sub-Mariner to convert blue noncreature spells into 1/1 Merfolk tokens, and pumping the entire team with anthem lords such as Lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident. The deck creates unblockable combat pressure by transforming opposing lands into Islands with Harbinger of the Seas or Streambed Aquitects. Connecting in combat fuels massive card advantage through engines like Seafloor Oracle and Enduring Curiosity, which continually restocks hand size and draws into protective countermagic. While the deck lacks fast infinite combos, its dense redundancy of lords, evasion enablers, and stack interaction allows it to build an insurmountable board presence by Turn 6 and close the game through overwhelming unblockable combat damage by Turn 9.
